After three years, the first face-to-face congress exceeded all expectations!
Originally scheduled for early 2021, the XXIX Brazilian Congress of Periodontology had to be postponed due to the health crisis across the country.
Rescheduled for April 2022, until the end of last year there were still doubts about the viability of holding it in person. After a detailed study of the prospects and in a gesture of courage, SOBRAPE's Board of Directors, together with the organizing committee, decided to keep it going.
And it was an extremely wise decision!
With an enviable scientific program that included internationally renowned speakers, the event brought together a significant number of participants from all regions of the country.
There were three days of lectures, symposia, theoretical and practical courses (hands on) which, we believe, contributed greatly to the knowledge of the professionals present.
At the same time, a trade fair was held, attended by the largest and most significant companies in the industry.
Our congratulations and thanks go to the management and employees of GT5, who spared no effort to make the event a success.
We would like to thank the Organizing Committee, which planned and structured the Congress so well, with the support of the SOBRAPE Board of Directors.
